Manual Color Changes

Channel objects can have color filters assigned according to a manual color change activity on stage. This is particulary useful for dance or other repertory performance where particular channels may have different colors filters physically installed at different times.

To set up a list of color changes for one or more channels, select the channel(s), open the Object Inspector, and select the 'filter' property. Enter a list of color filters and the associated color setup names -- names of dances, for example -- as follows:

R12 @ Preset, L201 @ Jumpers, R80 @ Flight

Click OK.

Now look in the Display > Color Setups submenu. It will list the three setups you have defined: Preset, Jumpers, and Flight. Select each of these in turn and the Channel object will change to the appropriate filter.

To make a default color, add it without a setup name, in this case NC:

R12 @ Preset, L201 @ Jumpers, R80 @ Flight, NC

That color will be selected whenever the '(default)' color setup is chosen from the menu.

To copy a filter list to other Channel objects, select the object having the list you want to copy, choose the Edit > Copy Color menu command, select the object(s) to which you want to paste the new list, then choose the Edit > Paste Color menu command.
