Printing

Blank VMS layouts can be printed for reference; no levels are shown on the printed layout. The layout is printed in a psuedo-negative view with the black bakground printed as white, and any white graphics printed as black. Channels, Scrollers, and color mix objects are drawn as outlines instead of fully filled. This saves ink and leaves space to write notes on the printed copy.

Three menu commands relate to printing.

  • File > Fit To Page makes the entire layout fit on one page.

  • File > Page Setup... opens the standard page setup dialog.

  • File > Print... opens the standard print dialog.
