Virtual Magic Sheet
software for Macintosh OS X or Windows XP provides a
sophisticated display of lighting control information. Live control
data from any DMX console is viewed in a customizable window. Channels
can be placed anywhere in the window. The layout might reflect the
of the stage, the structure of the light plot, or the designer's magic
sheet. Text, color,
and graphic elements can be added to the display. The Virtual Magic Sheet
display offers clear information,
logical organization and an elegant design.
Note: Though VMS Version 2.0 has been getting much buzz and some high-profile beta users in the past few months, it is not yet ready for release. The images and links on this page relate to version 1.2. New features likely to appear in version 2.0 will include support for ETCnet2 and PathPort, layout layers, 16 DMX universes, hookup viewer, monitoring and control of some console functions, built-in web page server for remote viewing, and a bunch of other goodies. Watch this space for news about the 2.0 release. Version 2.0 will be a free upgrade.
